Useful first. Search second.

WageWillow is designed around practical questions people bring to a calculator. Each page has one clear job, shows its assumptions, and explains where the math stops being a useful estimate.

We write original explanations around the tools rather than publishing pages that only repeat a keyword. We review formulas when a rule or assumption changes, link to official sources for topics such as taxes or employment, and label planning estimates clearly.

Our guides are published under the WageWillow Editorial Team. We do not claim a named human author's qualifications or independent professional review unless an article explicitly identifies that person and their role. Articles should link to primary sources for material rules, show worked-example assumptions, and avoid individualized advice.

Publication and update dates reflect substantive changes to article content, sources, or assumptions. We do not change dates just to make a page look fresh.

The site may eventually include advertising or affiliate links. Those relationships will be disclosed, ads will remain distinguishable from calculator controls, and we will not ask users to click ads. We will not sell calculator inputs or require personal financial data for browser-only tools.

If you spot a calculation issue, outdated assumption, or unclear explanation, the fastest improvement is a specific correction with the page name and the number you expected to see.
